Realize, Embrace, Achieve your Purpose (R.E.A.P. I)

The Realize, Embrace, and Achieve your Purpose (R.E.A.P.) I is an initiative of Young Women/Men of Purpose and was developed as a capacity building project geared towards the holistic development of youth at risk in the parish of Manchester. The first phase of R.E.A.P. was funded by the Commonwealth Youth Council and

Cuso International and was executed over an eight-month period, between March and November 2016. The project provided life skills training focusing on areas such as career development, sexual and reproductive health, communications and interpersonal skills, entrepreneurship, social graces and building the

self-esteem of 15 young women who were unemployed, not enrolled in school, victims of abuse (domestic violence, sexual and physical abuse) or experienced teenage pregnancy. Counselling and therapy was heavily endowed in the project, and upon completion, the organization received additional funding from Cuso
